Griffin Wristlet's Protective Case for iPod Nano

griffin-ipod-nano-wristletThe latest iPod nano from Apple is rather cute, but it still risks getting lost in your pocket/purse. A built-in clip is a good way to fix it on something, but Griffin is planning to go much further, offering Wristlet casing, which is a protective case in the form of a bracelet for the iPod nano. Its functionality is self-evident, as it protects your iPod nano from scratches. Griffin Wristlet will be priced at $ 19.99 and now is available for pre-orders.

mophie-juice-pack-air-mophie-juice-pack-air-iphone-4-engadgetHave you been waiting for the upcoming Mophie Juice Pack for iPhone 4 for a long time? You are not alone. It became known that this device will be available for $ 79 next week. iOS 3rd Most Popular Platform after Windows and Mac

093508-ios_linux_andrdoid

iOS has left Linux behind to become the 3rd most popular platform with Internet access. Standing at 1,1%, unsurprisingly, iOS is still losing to Mac OS X with its 5% share and lagging behind the all-encompassing Windows’ 91,3%. Still, for a mobile OS, this is an impressive score, especially considering that Linux’s share is 0,85% while Android’s is just 0,2%.

Google's New Project May Compete with Apple

google_music

According to Reuters, Google is planning to create a music download store and digital song locker. Andy Rubin, Google Vice President of Engineering, is currently in talks with leading music labels over what the service could look like. And if Rubin’s plan works, we might even see the service out there before Christmas.

No actual deals have been signed yet, but the prospect of having another competitor in the music industry is very appealing to the labels. Currently, 70% of all digital music sales come from Apple.
