Apple Is at #19 in the Fortune's Global 500 List





According to the Fortune’s latest annual list of the world’s most successful companies, Apple ranks #19. As to the top five spots, they are occupied by such corporations as Royal Dutch Shell, Wal-Mart, Exxon Mobil, Sinopec Group and China National Petroleum.

Apple Encountered Problems with the iWatch Trademark on a Domestic Market



The iWatch trademark has been actively pushed forward during the past few weeks. As a result, Apple is now recognized as its official owner in several countries, namely Russia, Japan, Taiwan and some others. Oddly enough, the Cupertino company hasn't yet filed for the iWatch trademark on its domestic market as well as in Europe. Why is it so?

HP Printers help Apple boost sales



 

Before 2012, one could get a 100$ discount on HP Printer when buying a Mac. The promotion stopped when printers became less popular and customers switched to digital access of documents through portable devices.

Now Apple is revitalizing the HP Printers promotion program and offers instant discount on 5 Printer models. The discount varies from 10$ to 70$.

Apart from this sales booster, Apple gives such incentives 50$ or 100$ gift card to be used in  iTunes Store/App Store for educational customers when buying an iPhone/iPad or a new Mac.

iPhone reaches Android sales in May



According to recent market research, carried out by Kantar Worldpanel, Android remains the leader in smartphone market with 52% share. Apple is market challenger with 41,9 %, which is 3,5% higher than over the same period last year.

iOS success is put down to the agreement of T-Mobile to work with iPhone 5. The carrier picked up its best-selling smartphone only in the middle of April, but since then the sales have increased considerably. Currently 31% of carrier’s models are iPhones.
