Apple Has Launched New 15-inch MacBook Pro and 27-inch iMac

Apple on Tuesday released the 15-inch Retina MacBook Pro and the 27-inch iMac with an amazing 5K display. The release took place one day earlier than we expected. As you know, rumors pointed to the official launch of the aforementioned devices on Wednesday.

According to what Philip Schiller, Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Marketing said yesterday, the updated MacBook can boast of trackpad with the support of Force Touch technology first introduced in the Apple Watch and the 13-inch Retina MacBook as well as better battery and faster flash storage. As to the iMac, the new model has a 27-inch display with 5K resolution, AMD graphics and a lower price tag to make the computer available for a wider circle of customers.

The response to the new MacBook and updated 13-inch MacBook Pro with Retina display has been amazing, and today we are thrilled to bring the new Force Touch trackpad, faster flash storage and longer battery life to the 15-inch MacBook Pro with Retina display. Customers love the groundbreaking iMac with Retina 5K display, and now with a new lower starting price, even more people can experience the best desktop we’ve ever made.

What is interesting is that both 15-inch MacBook Pro and the 27-inch iMac are currently available for purchase from Apple's Online Store and a number of authorized resellers in the USA.
