Apple Releases iOS 9 with New Features to Users Worldwide

Just as we expected, Apple on Wednesday released iOS 9 to public worldwide. If you have a compatible iPhone, iPad or iPod touch, the update should be available in the Settings app under General - Software Update or once you connect your device to iTunes. It should be noted, however, that Apple servers are currently overloaded, so if you don’t see any available updates, you should wait for a while.

The main focus of iOS 9 is proactive assistance and improved search both in apps and Safari. The latest version of Apple’s operating system provides you with the most relevant information based on your interests and needs. Siri now features new design and lets you get the information much faster. Apple has also tweaked the design of iOS 9 and added some changes to multitasking process. iOS 9 for iPad also lets users run two application simultaneously on one screen, side by side.

iOS 9 also features a completely redesigned Notes app with improved functionality, a News app letting you stay aware of the latest news from all over the world and some improvements to Maps and other stock apps.

The main improvement of iOS 9, however, is the improved battery life. Because of software optimization and a new low power mode, your iOS device should work much longer on a single charge.
