Apple has released macOS Sierra 10.12.1 to users worldwide. The update, according to Apple, contains stability, compatibility, and security enhancements for all compatible Mac computers.

The macOS Sierra 10.12.1 update improves the stability, compatibility, and security of your Mac, and is recommended for all users.

macOS Sierra 10.12.1 includes fixes for Mail, Universal Clipboard, Auto Unlock, Safari as well as improvements for Photos and Microsoft Office compatibility with iCloud Desktop and Documents.

Those who own a 2010 MacBook Air, Macbook Pro, Mac Pro and Mac mini or newer or 2009 MacBook and iMac or newer, can upgrade to macOS Sierra 10.12.1 using the Mac App Store Software Update mechanism.
