Apple Releases OS X Mavericks 10.9.4





Apple on Monday officially released OS X Mavericks 10.9.4. The new version of the operating system for Macs contains a number of important improvements and bug fixes. OS X Mavericks 10.9.4 is recommended for all users since “it improves the stability, compatibility, and security” of the computer.

As to the new features and enhancements, they include fixes for the bug that made it nearly impossible for some Macs to connect to known Wi-Fi networks, improvements to sleep mode and Safari 7.0.5.

This update:

  • Fixes an issue that prevented some Macs from automatically connecting to known Wi-Fi networks.
  • Improves the reliability of wake from sleep.
  • Includes Safari 7.0.5

OS X Mavericks 10.9.4 is available via Software Update menu, so if you have a compatible desktop or laptop, you may upgrade to the newer version of OS X right now.
