Apple Releases Second Beta of iOS 4.3 to Developers

ios4.3 beta 2

Yesterday Apple released a second beta version of iOS 4.3 to registered developers. This build is labeled as 8F5153d and available in versions for the iPad, iPhone 4 and 3GS, and third- and fourth-generation iPod touch. It doesn’t seem like Apple added any new features in this release.

A week ago Apple already seeded first beta version of iOS 4.3 where added support for a number of features including personal Wi-Fi hotspot functionality, new multi-touch gestures for the iPad, support for video streaming from third-party and web apps via AirPlay, and a new software  for selecting the functionality of the iPad's side switch.

Documentation accompanying the release of the second beta claims that multi touch gestures will not be enabled in iOS 4.3 for customers. “This feature will not be enabled in iOS 4.3 for customers,” the documentation reads, “but we are providing this preview to gather input on how these gestures work with your apps.”
