Apple Seeded OS X Lion Golden Master To Developers

Apple released MAC OS X Lion Golden Master seed to developers in anticipation of its official release at some time this month. The download of Golden Master seed is available on the Mac Developer website. The number of the build is 11A511. Also, Apple released Developer Preview 7 seed of Xcode 4.1.

Apple has introduced many changes including full screen application interfaces, autosaving, home screens (or Launchpad in Lion) and auto resume in apps. Besides these features, there are also native support for the Mac App Store, updated email client, Mission Control, build-in FaceTime and many improvements of interface and features in all parts of the operating system.Such features as AirDrop file sharing, Find my Mac (via iCloud) and multi-user remote computer access are also available in Lion.

Today Apple has announced the official release date of OS X Lion and it will be available through Mac Store at $29.99. Apple is s readying to release an updated MacBook Air line with OS X Lion preinstalled in the middle of this month. Maybe, Apple’s updated Mac operating system will be released at that time, too.

Also, Golden Master download for OS X Lion Server edition is available on the website. For developers both Golden Masters versions are available on the Mac App Store. But to obtain access to download in the Mac App Store, you need to have a redemption code.

Apart from OS X Lion Golden Master and Xcode 4.1 Preview 7 Apple has launched beta 3 of iCloud for using in Mac. This update will allow OS X Lion GM users to use iCloud with their Macs.
