Apple to Release Fix for iOS 9.3 Web Links Bug Soon

Apple is aware of the recent problem with opening links in Safari, Mail and a number of other applications on iOS 9.3 and iOS 9.2.1. Moreover, according to the latest report from TechCrunch, the company is already working on a fix for the bug that will be included in the next minor update for the mobile operating system. We need to be patient and wait for the newer build of IOS.

In case you don’t know, last week users began to complain about a bug that made some apps on iPhones and iPads running iOS 9.3 and iOS 9.2.1 freeze or crash once the user taps a link. The issue is present on both older and newer devices.

Apple has confirmed that it is aware of an issue causing web links to crash in multiple iOS apps like Safari, Mail, and Messages, reports TechCrunch. Following multiple complaints about the bug over the past few days, Apple says it is working on a fix that will be released "soon" via a software update.

Apple has just released a fix for a different bug related to the activation of iOS devices after the update to iOS 9.3. Prior to this, the company had to halt the update process and issue a new build of iOS 9.3 specifically for GSM iPad 2 model. Yes, you’re right - because of a bug in the operating system affecting the older tablet.
