Apple's Trade-in Program Now Covers Android, BlackBerry and Windows Phone Devices

Apple has recently expanded its trade-in program in United States, Canada and a number of European countries to include Android, BlackBerry and Windows Phone smartphones. What this means is that if you have a Sony, Samsung, LG, HTC, Nokia or BlackBerry device, you may change it for a discount that may be used when purchasing the iPhone. Moreover, from now on you can not only trade-in your older device directly in the Apple Store, you can mail it to Apple. As you may see, the guys from Cupertino do their best to make people get rid of their non-Apple smartphones and buy iPhones instead.

Apple has expanded its Reuse and Recycling Program in the United States, Canada and several European countries to cover eligible Android, BlackBerry and Windows Phone smartphones. The new trade-in program is available online and in-store and provides customers with the option to mail in eligible non-Apple smartphones, including certain Samsung, HTC, LG, Nokia, Sony and BlackBerry models, for credit in the form of an Apple Store gift card or bank transfer.

The new Reuse and Recycling Program is currently available in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Italy, France and Germany. With time, it may expanded to several other European countries, as well as to China and Japan.
