Here’s How Windows 95 Works on Apple Watch [Video]

Wearable devices are becoming more popular these days and more customers try to do interesting things with their smartwatches. A developer named Nick Lee, for example, has recently posted a video on YouTube, showing an Apple Watch running Windows 95. The reason for conducting such a strange experiment is unknown, but the result is quite entertaining. You can take a look at the Apple’s smartwatch running an old operating system from Microsoft below.

Since it's run using the Bochs x86 emulator, it takes Windows 95 an hour to boot! Lee hot glued a motor to the watch's crown to keep it from falling asleep.

As noted by the developer, the Apple Watch specs exceed those of the computers compatible with Windows 95 and manufactured in mid-nineties substantially. That is why after the modification of certain files within a WatchKit app, the computer operating system booted up on the watch.
