iPhone Remains Popular Among Teenagers in the USA, iPad Becomes Less Popular

According to Gene Munster of Piper Jaffray, Apple's iPhone remains the most popular handset among the teenagers in the USA. To find out what device is of the greatest popularity, the analyst polled 7500 teenagers and here're the results he got from them (via MacRumors):

61 percent of teens now own an iPhone, compared to 55 percent from a survey conducted in October 2013 and 40 percent in the fall of 2012.

Apart from that, 67% of teenagers expect that iPhone will become their next handset. As to tablets, 60% of young people in the USA own one (66% own iPad). However, this is where it gets tricky. You see, 55% of the iPad owners mentioned above have a full-sized Apple tablet and 11% - iPad mini. Back in October, nearly 68% of people owned an iPad.

What I'm trying to say is that people are buying  small gadgets more frequently now - iPhones, for instance. iPads are of less popularity.
