LiquidKeyboard Can Improve Typing Experience On Tablets





As it is known typing on an iPad is not as comfortable as on traditional keyboards. However, in time frustrations goes away as users adapt to new way of typing. If you were to work with iPad’s onscreen keyboard like with traditional keyboard, you would definitely make accidental key presses. This considerable lowers the speed of typing, so users have to not rest their fingers on keys.

According to The Economist’s report, the LiquidKeyboard developed by Hannes Lau and Christian Sax from the University of Technology in Sydney is aimed to considerably improve typing experience on tablets in the foreseeable future.

The video above compares iPad’s usual onscreen keyboard with the LiquidKeyboard’s ability to change the position of keys on the screen in relation to your wrist and finger position. Also this keyboard allows you to rest all fingers on the display at once, instead of one or two fingers like with traditional iPad keyboard.
