Microsoft to Release Word Flow Keyboard for iOS?





According to an email sent to the selected members of Windows Insider program, Microsoft is planning a rollout of its Word Flow keyboard designed specifically for the Windows Phone platform on Apple’s iOS. Since Apple’s mobile operating system now supports the usage of third-party keyboards, the release of the aforementioned one looks quite obvious and possible.

The Word Flow keyboard is generally recognized as one of the best features found in Microsoft’s Windows Phone platform. Current policy of the company welcomes porting of useful features and apps to other platforms, so the Word Flow keyboard for iOS may be indeed released in the near future.

In an email to some Windows Insider testers, obtained by The Verge, Microsoft is looking for iPhone users to trial the Word Flow keyboard. It's not clear when Word Flow will be released publicly on iOS, but Microsoft is already ready to test it more broadly so it will likely arrive in the coming months.
