New Rumors About iPhone 6 Screen Resolution from John Gruber



Following several previous reports that dealt with the next-generation iPhone screen resolution, a new one appeared on the Internet on Saturday. The report comes from a reliable journalist John Gruber and suggests that the 4.7-inch handset will feature a resolution of 1334 x 750 pixels and a pixel density of 326 ppi. As to the larger 5.5-inch iPhone 6, it will boast of resolution of 2208 x 1242 pixels with a density of 461 ppi. It should be noted, however, that this piece of news hasn't been confirmed by Apple's suppliers or other reliable sources yet.

According to the latest report from reliable sources, iOS 7 is currently installed on 91% of working devices. This means that the latest version of Apple's mobile operating system has a lower level of fragmentation if compared to Android, the latest version of which is installed only on nearly 21% of the smartphones. iPhone 6 Prototype Renderings Leak Online



Several new images appeared on the Internet on Friday that show us both 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch iPhone 6 models. It should be noted that these are not actual photos of the handsets, but something like the prototype renderings. Several images showing something what appears to be a back panel for the 5.5-inch iPhone 6 have been spotted online today. The photos have been first published on Evasi0njailbreak. The panel looks just like the panel for the 4.7-inch handset and features the same cutout for the new Apple logo, new antenna breaks and the holes for camera and LED flash. The only notable difference is the size of today’s back shell.
