Stainless Apple Watch to Cost $500, Gold - $4.000 - Rumors

Several new rumors that deal with Apple's long-anticipated smartwatch and the prices for different versions of the gadget have recently appeared on the Internet. According to the latest report found on a French website called iGen.fr, the stainless steel model of the Apple Watch may cost about $500, while the high-end and luxurious gold version could get a price tag of $4.000 or even $5.000. Well, that's a bit too much for a smartwatch, don't you think so?

The French reporters have a good track record and reliable insiders among Apple suppliers, so I guess we can believe their latest report. This year, for example, iGen.fr published correct dimensions of the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus far ahead of the launch and that is a good sign.

While Apple had announced that the Apple Watch would start at $350, which was widely assumed to be the price of the aluminum model, and estimates pegged the price of the gold Apple Watch at prices as low as $1,000 or as high as $5,000, there has been little information regarding the pricing of the stainless steel option.

Aside from all the other things, the French reporters say that the guys from Cupertino are still doing their best to release the Apple Watch by the next Valentine's Day. We'll see if they manage to accomplish such a task.
