Apple Launches Web-Based iTunes Preview

itunespreview

Apple has launched iTunes Preview, a feature that shows what music is available on iTunes from the convenience of your Web browser. iTunes Preview lets anyone browse through the entire iTunes catalog’s worth of music, info, and user reviews for any region.

You can access iTunes Preview in one of two ways, either through iTunes Charts on Apple’s Website or through any link generated from the iTunes Store’s Copy Link feature. Unfortunately, it’s still not possible to listen to music outside of iTunes.

For now, this feature only works with music. Hopefully someday it will be be extended to movies, TV shows and the AppStore.

What's new in Firmware 3.0 Beta4: 12 changes

Here is a list of changes from iSapzio (sorry, screenshots are in Italian):

1. You can now enter to Settings-Store to see the balance and billing information:

11 12 13

2. Another change concerns volume control in the iPod app (or the "Music" on iPod Touch). While using Firmware 3.0 beta 4 on iPod Touch first generation, we can see that the controls for the volume are gone. This is an intelligent system, that turns on and off volume control, depending on USB, headphones and AD2P connection:

21 22 23

3. Fixed problems with iPhoto and displaying thumbnails of the screenshots / images from the CameraRoll.

Quake for iPhone 2.0

Quake filannly made it! It is avaliable in Cydia Installer.

Main thing, it’s quite playable - moving around and firing are easy to do. There is an Options area, sound and music, and very little lag when playing. It doesn’t make use of the accelerometer - but if you’re a Quake fan, this is a good bit of Sunday fun for sure.
