9to5Mac, Apple will introduce six versions of the iPhone 5 with code names "N42" at its media event on 12th September. The source indicates that Apple will launch white and black models at the same $199/$299/$399 prices carried by the iPhone 4S. This means that the iPhone 5’s configurations will probably remain at the same 16GB/32GB/ 64GB capacities that are available for iPhone 4S. The report said:
“Here is the part codes matrix for the new iPhone launch from a source at a well-known U.S. retail chain: N42A-USA -$199, N42B-USA-$199, N42A-USA-$299, N42B-USA-$299, N42A-USA-$399, N42B-USA-$399. A + B signify black and white”.
It is expected that Apple will accompany the iPhone launch with a number of accessories, and pre-orders will reportedly begin “soon after” iPhone 5 introduction.

Apple changes name of "iPad WiFi + 4G" to "iPad WiFi + Cellular"
Following a string of complaints across the globe (especially in Australia and the United Kingdom) regarding Apple’s branding of the 4G-LTE compatible iPads, Apple has tweaked the name of their cellular-connecting iPad in some regions. The new name is simply “iPad WiFi + Cellular” and this is a shift from the former “iPad WiFi + 4G” branding. The source of the criticism of the 4G third-generation iPad models is the fact that the 4G LTE only functions in the U.S. and Canada, on a total of five carriers.
Apple did not simply make this iPad name change in the affected Australia and UK regions, but they changed it in the UK, Australia, the U.S., Canada, UAE, Vietnam, Thailand, Singapore, New Zealand, Malaysia, Ireland, and Hong Kong.
New iPad arrives to 21 more countries soon
Apple just published a press release that confirms the new iPad 3 will launch in 12 additional countries this Friday, April 20. Along with the 12 countries listed below, Apple confirmed an April 27 international launch date for nine more countries:
In addition to South Korea, the new iPad also will be available beginning on Friday, April 20 in Brunei, Croatia, Cyprus, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guatemala, Malaysia, Panama, St Maarten, Uruguay and Venezuela. Beginning on Friday, April 27, the new iPad will be available in Colombia, Estonia, India, Israel, Latvia, Lithuania, Montenegro, South Africa and Thailand.

Apple rumored to use 'slim bezel display' for 7.85-inch iPad
Citing sources from Apple's upstream supply chain, DigiTimes reports that Apple will launch a 7.85-inch iPad to compete with smaller tablet models like the Amazon Kindle Fire or Samsung Galaxy Tab. Such tablet will adopt a "slim bezel display," according to a new report.
"Although the 7.85-inch iPads may not adopt Retina displays as in the recently released new iPads, the 7.85-inch model is likely to use IPS/FFS panels from LG Display and probably AU Optronics (AUO)," the report said.

Rumors: iPad 3 will cost $70-80 more than iPad 2
Chinese microblogging site published some new rumors about future iPad 3. They managed to get price information for the new Apple tablet.

Apple rumored to be secretly shipping 'iPad 3' as Best Buy cuts iPad 2 by $50
Meijer, a regional big-box retailer in the U.S., slashed the price of the 16GB iPad 2 with Wi-Fi by $70, and Best Buy has begun offering $50 off every iPad 2 model. These facts could, however, suggest that Foxconn is already preparing to ship the device's third-generation successor to Apple in the United States.
The alleged secret shipments from Foxconn were revealed in a shipping manifest from Apple.pro revealed this weekend, which shows a series of shipments scheduled to begin delivery in the U.S. no later than March 9. The mystery orders arriving from Chengdu, China, are said to be under high security. A source from Foxconn's Chengdu plant reportedly indicated that the shipment is for "Apple's latest products."
iPad 3 will probably have A5X processor
WeiPhone site has leaked a photo of an iPad 3 logic board with A5X CPU chip. Previously it was expected that new tablet will feature A6 chip, reports MacRumors.
A date code of "1146" on the A5X indicates that it was manufactured in the 46th week of 2011, which would have corresponded to November 14-20. An "A5X" as a step-wise upgrade to the A5 corresponds with progression of processor part numbers as revealed by BGR in February. At the time the A4 was known to be the S5L8930X, the A5 as the S5L8940X and the new iPad processor as S5L8945X.
Apple viewed as unlikely to launch 7-inch iPad in 2012
Analyst Brian Blair with Wedge Partners said in a note to investors this week that though Apple is believed to have built prototypes for a 7-inch iPad, and rumors of such a device launching persist, he doesn't believe Apple will release a 7-inch tablet in 2012.
"Jobs was emphatic in his view that 7-inch tablets were dead on arrival," Blair wrote, "and we believe it would be unlikely to see the company test the waters in this category anytime soon."
Blair thinks it's more likely that after the launch of a third-generation iPad Apple will keep its current iPad 2 on the production to decrease its price and address demand at the mid-tier range.
"We believe iPad 2's price drop could drop to the $349 to $399 range with Apple offering a single 16GB model," he said.
