Apple Unveiled Its New iMacs
Yesterday, on May 3 Apple has unveiled its new iMac desktops, which are up to 70% faster that its previous generation. Apple's senior vice president of Worldwide Product Marketing was traditionally excited to present new devices:
"Our customers love the iMac’s aluminum enclosure, gorgeous display and all-in-one design. With next generation quad-core processors, powerful new graphics, Thunderbolt technology and a FaceTime HD camera, we've made the world’s best desktop even better."

UltraSn0w 1.2.1 released: supports iPhone iOS 4.3.1
The iPhone Dev-Team released an update to UltraSn0w that makes it compatible with iOS 4.3.1 for basebands previously unlocked. You can use ultrasn0w if you need carrier unlock and you have compatible baseband, preserved with pwnagetool, sn0wbreeze or tinyumbrella.
Ultrasn0w 1.2.1 supports only the following basebands:
- iPhone 4: 01.59.00
- iPhone 3G/3GS: 04.26.08, 05.11.07, 05.12.01, 05.13.04, 06.15.00.
You can install ultrasn0w via Cydia.

UltraSn0w for iOS 4.3.1 is almost ready
The iPhone Dev-Team has recently announced that they've managed to fix UltraSn0w issues with iOS 4.3.1. They still want to test it on various devices before releasing.
This update is for those who are on an unlockable baseband. For users who used PwnageTool 4.3 or Sn0wBreeze 2.5 to update iPhone firmware. This will not add any new basebands to unlockable list.
Ultrasn0w supports the following basebands:
- iPhone 4: 01.59.00
- iPhone 3G/3GS: 04.26.08, 05.11.07, 05.12.01, 05.13.04, 06.15.00.

iOS 4.3.1 jailbreak news: Apple closed comex kernel exploit
Comex, famous iPhone hacker, tweeted today that the kernel exploit for jailbreak he had found long ago was closed by Apple in recent iOS 4.3.1. This exploit could be used to jailbreak iPad 2.
As noticed by @0naj, my kernel exploit was fixed in 4.3.1.
I try not to be paranoid, but it is really hard to explain this as anything but a leak.
The funny thing is that my "new" kernel exploit is actually the kernel exploit used by JailbreakMe 2.0. It was never properly fixed.
It stayed there from 4.0.2 through 4.3, but was magically found in time for 4.3.1. well, go go @MuscleNerd and @i0n1c I guess
This is not good news. However we have recently seen working untethered jailbreak video. There are other vulnerabilities in iOS 4.3.1.

UPDate: Attention! We've received info, that Apple stopped signing iOS 4.2 for devices for which iOS 4.3 is available. This means you will not be able to restore to 4.2.1 without saved SHSH keys.

17-inch MacBook Pro has 3 USB ports and ExpressCard/34 slot compared to 2 USB and SDXC card slot in 15-inch version.
Bor both 15 and 17 inch models you can customize it with 128GB, 256GB and 512GB SSD and increase RAM to 8GB. Different HDD options are also available - 500Gb (5400 or 7200 rpm), 750Gb (5400rpm). New 13-inch MacBook Pros Get Core i5 and i7 CPUs
As we reported earlier, today Apple unveiled new 13", 15" and 17" MacBook Pros. 13-inch notebook will be offered in two configurations: one with an Intel Dual-Core 2.7 GHz i7 processor and 500GB HDD for $1,499 and another with an Intel Dual-Core 2.3 GHz i5 processor and 320GB HDD with price of $1,199. In other hardware specifications, which are listed below, they are the same:
- 13.3-inch LED-backlit glossy widescreen display with native resolution of 1280x800.
- Intel HD Graphics 3000 that sports 384MB of DDR3 SDRAM shared with main memory;
- 4GB of DDR3 RAM @ 1333 MHz with two other SO-DIMM slots to support up to 8GB;

Today Apple's Media Event: What To Expect
As you may know, today Apple unveils its new lineup of MacBook Pros and has already shut down the Apple Store for some time. CNet reports the launch of new laptops will come "shortly after Intel's announcement" of its new Light Peak technology at 10 a.m. Pacific. That actually break's usual practice of Apple to release products at 8:30 a.m. Eastern.
