Apple’s iOS 9 is quite a glitchy update. In addition to the issues with 3D Touch, speakers, power and Touch ID on a wide number of iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus units and the ‘Slide to Upgrade’ bug making compatible iPhones and iPads useless bricks that can be restored only in the DFU mode, the latest version of Apple’s mobile operating system is reported to be the reason for various problems with POP email accounts and opening attachments added to the emails. Even though Apple has already released two updates, namely, iOS 9.0.1 and iOS 9.0.2, the problem is still present and the number of users facing it continues to rise steadily from day to day.

Apple Stops Signing iOS 8.4.1, Downgrades and Restores are Impossible Now



Following the releases of iOS 9, iOS 9.0.1 and iOS 9.0.2 to users worldwide, Apple has finally stopped signing iOS 8.4.1. This means that restores and downgrades to this version of Apple’s operating system are no longer possible. And that’s not very good since iOS 9 seems to be quite glitchy. It Costs Apple $236 to Produce One iPhone 6s Plus Unit - IHS



A new teardown performed by IHS experts has revealed that Apple spends about $236 on the production of the 16GB iPhone 6s Plus. In particular, the component costs are equal to $231.50 and the money spent on the assembly of the device make $4.50. This year’s flagship device is $16 more expensive to produce that its predecessor, the iPhone 6 Plus. The component costs are a bit higher this year as Apple has added a number of new components to the device, namely, the 7000 aluminum, 3D Touch display and Taptic Engine.

Apple Sold 13 Million iPhone 6s and 6s Plus Units During First Weekend of Availability

iPhone 6s 11% Heavier than iPhone 6 - Insiders



Apple’s iPhone 6s is reportedly 11% heavier than the iPhone 6, sources claim. Even though Apple is using a lighter and stronger 7000 series aluminum, because of the new 3D Touch display the weight of the device increased a bit. The display of the iPhone 6 weighs 12g and the new iPhone 6s display that features support of 3D Touch technology weighs 29g. The weight of the iPhone 6s Plus display has increased from 19g to 40g.

Apple 'On Pace' to Beat Last Year’s Launch Weekend iPhone Sales

iPhone 6 Beaten by Galaxy S6 and LG G4 in Performance Tests



According to a recent performance test conducted by Tom's Guide reporters, Apple’s iPhone 6 is no longer world’s fastest smartphone.
