New 27-inch iMac Supports Up to 64GB of RAM - OWC



According to the latest report from Other World Computing (OWC), the recently-introduced 27-inch Retina 5K iMac supports up to 64GB of RAM. Unlike the smaller 21.5-inch Retina 4K iMac, which uses soldered RAM that can be upgraded only by Apple on customer’s demand before the purchase, the larger model gives the owner an opportunity to upgrade the maximum RAM capacity offered by Apple by two times using modules of up to 16GB per one slot. This makes the 27-inch iMac a worth-purchasing device for all those who use computer for image and video editing and other things that require much RAM and powerful processor.

A well-known iOS developer Hamza Sood has recently discovered that the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus both have 2GB of RAM. This seems to be truth as the references pointing to the increase in RAM have been found in Apple’s development tool called Xcode. iPad Pro to Get A9X Processor, Minimum 64GB of Storage and Come in Three Colors



According to the latest report from people familiar with the matter, the long-anticipated iPad Pro will feature a better processor, updated storage and a massive 12.9-inch display.

As noted by reliable insiders, Apple will equip the new tablet with a more efficient 64-bit A9X processor. The minimum amount of storage will be increased to 64GB. Samsung Announces New Gear S2 Smartwatches



Apple’s main rival, Samsung, has recently announced the Samsung Gear S2, a smartwatch with a round display. This Apple Watch rival comes in three versions, namely, Classic, standard, and 3G. The first model can boast of a black leather band and a black case while the second one features a gray case and a rubber band. The third model, as can be guessed from the name, is capable of connecting to 3G networks and thus can be used without the smartphone as a separate device.

Apple Releases Two-Part Apple Music Commercial [Video]



I’ve got some good news for music fans. Apple has just released two new Apple Music ads featuring featuring The Weeknd and John Travolta. Well, actually these are not two separate clips, but a two-part commercial with single theme and message. The ad was first shown to public on Sunday night during the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards. Samsung Working on iPad Pro Rival - Rumor



According to the latest report shared by people familiar with the matter, Samsung is currently working on a massive 18.4-inch tablet. This device is expected to become the main and probably the only rival of the iPad Pro, which is expected to be released later this year. Leaked Images Reveal New A9 Chip Design



Several new images showing diagrams of the iPhone 6s logic board have recently appeared on the Internet. According to these diagrams, the logic board of the upcoming iPhone will feature a new SiP (System-in-Package) design. This design will combine several chips in one larger chip. In particular, the power management and the baseband chips will be embedded into the A9 CPU.

Just as we expected, Apple on Wednesday released a brand new iPod touch and refreshed the entire lineup of iPods with new colors. The updated iPod touch can boast of the 64-bit A8 processor and M8 motion coprocessor, 4-inch display, 8-megapixel camera. As to the memory capacity, it is equal to 16GB, 32GB, 64GB or 128GB. The price depends on the capacity of the gadget and starts from $199 for the lower-end 16GB portable player and ends with $399 for the 128GB model.

According to what IHS Technology Research Director for China Kevin King has recently shared on Weibo, Apple’s next-generation iPhone will feature a 12-megapixel camera with smaller pixels. This rumor goes in line with the most-recent report from KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who also stated that the guys from Cupertino may equip their new gadget with a brand new photo sensor.
