It's Sunday today, which means I should tell you about the most interesting posts of past seven days. Let's begin.
As you probably know, Apple is expected to release its next-gen iPhone later this year. Ahead of the purported launch, more and more mockups and alleged schematics appear on the Internet. They look pretty much the same, however, each one has a unique or worth mentioning feature. That's why I try to describe each mockup thoroughly.
A bunch of new images showing iPhone 6 'latest' schematics have recently appeared on the Internet. Whether these images are legitimate or not is still a question since they were spotted on a Chinese WeiFeng network. The people who published the renderings on the Net claim they got the images directly from Apple suppliers.
A number of new photos showing fifth generation iPod touch compared to iPhone 6 physical mockup have recently appeared on the Italian website called Macitynet. Both devices looks pretty much the same, however, the iPhone mockup is noticeably larger.
By and large, the design of the mockup resembles the design of the iPod touch and earlier iPhone models. However, it has some differences, which can be seen on the images below.

A research firm called Marketing Insight has recently conducted a customer satisfaction survey among the South Korean smartphone users.
According to the latest report from Economic Daily News, Apple may release its long-anticipated iPhone 6 with 4.7-inch display in August, not in September as it was reported earlier. If the two companies come to an agreement, the acquisition will be announced next week.
Apple has reportedly hired Ari Partinen, a senior camera engineer at Nokia. According to what he has recently posted on his Twitter, he will start working for the company from Cupertino as soon as in June.
Apple has released the ninth OS X Mavericks 10.9.3 beta to developers for testing. As usual, the new version has been seeded just one week after the eighth beta (build number build 13D55). Apart from the operating system itself, Apple has released Safari 7.0.4.

Earlier this week it was reported that iOS 7 doesn't encrypt email attachments, though it should. The only possible way out was not to detach important or confidential files to emails, but fortunately, another one appeared on Wednesday.
Apple has become world's second largest online retailer. The first place is occupied by Amazon and I must admit that the gap between the first and the second spot is enormous.
According to the latest rumors, Apple may open its new flagship store inside of the upcoming World Trade Center mall in New York. The store is expected to be located in the lower level of the mall.
The guys from Cupertino signed all the documents required for opening the store. This means it may be opened as soon as in 2015.
Apple is expected to hold an "enormous" iPhone upgrade event in its retail stores. On May 8th, the guys from Cupertino will start sending emails to those users who have an older iPhone. They will be offered a discount on newer handset - iPhone 5s or iPhone 5c - if they decide to give their old one back to Apple.
Apple's iOS 7 (including iOS 7.1) is not as secure and protected as it was believed to be. According to what security researcher Andreas Kurtz writes, email attachments sent using native Mail app aren't encrypted. What's even more interesting is that Apple claims the files are encrypted. This means the guys from Cupertino had no idea about the issue until now.
