Apple Releases iTunes 11.2.1 with Fix for Hidden 'Users' Folder



Immediately after the release of OS X Mavericks 10.9.3, which took place on Friday, many users began reporting a problem with iTunes 11.2. The bug somehow made a 'Users' folder on their computers hidden. And this is a piece of bad news.

The good news is that Apple responded quickly to the issue and released a new version of iTunes today - 11.2.1. This version contains a fix for the problem.

Patent War Between Apple and Google is Over?



Apple and Google have decided to stop the patent war. According to the latest reports, the company from Cupertino and Google’s Motorola Mobility unit have recently agreed to end all the so-called patent battles. This, however, doesn't mean that the tech giants will start cross-licensing each other's patents.

Apple today released the final version of OS X Mavericks 10.9.3 to users worldwide. The release comes after two months of developer testing. In case you don't know, the last beta (build 13D61) was released last week and contained minor improvements.

iOS Users Generate Nearly 54% of North American Smartphone Web Traffic



Apple's iPhone is a very popular smartphone. In fact, it is so much popular that nearly half of the smartphone users own one.

According to the latest report from research firm Chitika Insights, iOS users generate 53.1% of North American web traffic. Android users come in the second place with 44.5%.
