New Apple TV Won't Support 4K Video - Rumors





According to the latest report from John Paczkowski, the next-generation Apple TV, which is expected to be unveiled at this year’s Worldwide Developers Conference, won’t boast of the support of 4K video. As to the possible reason for Apple’s decision not to include 4K video support to the updated device, it may be connected with the lack of high-quality 4K content. Moreover, such content requires fast Internet connection to be delivered to users and currently only about 15% of customers in the USA have access to the connection fast enough to work with 4K videos.

Apple в четверг выпустила седьмую бета-версию OS X Yosemite 10.10.3 для разработчиков и участников публичной программы тестирования. Интересно то, что релиз состоялся спустя всего через три дня после выхода шестой “беты”, которая могла похвастаться приложением Фото, поддержкой двухуровневой верификации Google, обновленными смайликами, а также рядом улучшений безопасности, стабильности и исправленными багами. Самая первая тестовая версия Yosemite 10.10.3 появилась где-то две месяца назад.

Apple Now Accepting Apple Watch Apps from All Developers



Several days after the release of the first-third party Apple Watch apps on the App Store, the guys from Cupertino have announced that they are ready to accept all the other WatchKit-based application for approval. Apart from that, Apple has updated its WatchKit website with the information on how to make the development of the apps easier and how to optimize them for the App Store. Apple has just begun releasing selected third-party Apple Watch apps on the App Store. These apps include Twitter, Evernote, Things, Target, Dark Sky, The Wall Street Journal and many other applications from non-Apple developers. While the wearable device is expected to hit the store shelves only on April 24th, customers will get an exclusive opportunity to take a look at the smartwatch and try it on at the local Apple Stores starting from April 10th. They will also get a chance to pre-order the tiny gadget. However, to decide whether they actually need the Apple Watch, people should be able to look at different apps created for it.

New Rumors About Apple's Beats-Based Streaming Music Service Appear Online



As you probably know, Apple is currently working on its new streaming music service, which is based on the Beats Music functionality and which is expected to be embedded either to iOS 8.4 or iOS 9. According to the latest report released by The New York Times reporters, Trent Reznor and Jimmy Iovine are playing major roles in the development of the service. Following the release of the fifth OS X Yosemite 10.10.3 beta, the guys from Cupertino on Tuesday made the fourth iOS 8.3 beta available for developers. Apple TV to Be Updated with New Processor, Siri and More This Year



According to what people familiar with the matter write, at the annual Worldwide Developers Conference scheduled for June, the guys from Cupertino plan to announce a new Apple TV set-top box. The new media device will reportedly boast of Apple’s A8 processor and a big amount of internal storage.
