Apple Remains World’s Most Valuable Brand in 2015





According to the latest data shared by a research firm Interbrand, Apple remains the most valuable brand in the world. The first place in the annual rating has been occupied by the Cupertino company since 2013, when Apple surpassed a long-time leader, Coca-Cola, and took the lead. As noted by the experts, Apple value is now equal to $170.27 billion. That’s an increase of $51.4 billion or as many as 43% in comparison with the last year’s results.

Apple remains top U.S. smartphone manufacturer. According to the latest report from a research firm comScore, the market share of the company from Cupertino was equal to 44.2% during the period of three months ending in July. Such vendors as Samsung, LG, Motorola and  HTC occupy the places in the top-five list.

Apple to Release iOS 8.4 to Users Worldwide on Tuesday - Rumor



According to the latest announcement made by Ian Rogers, Apple’s Senior Director of Apple Music, the next generation of iOS, which is iOS 8.4, will be released as soon as this Tuesday, June 30th. Apart from that, the guys from Cupertino will also launch their long-awaited online radio called Beats 1 on Tuesday. Apple on Monday seeded the fifth beta of iOS 8.2 to developers for testing. The release took place about three weeks after the release of the fourth beta and nearly three months after the release of the very first testing version of iOS 8.2. This beta also includes WatchKit SDK, which allows to create apps and notifications for the long-anticipated Apple Watch and Xcode 6.2 beta 5.

Apple CEO Tim Cook has become nearly the most successful CEO of the last year. The sum he earned over 2013 is nearly $74 million. Such achievement allowed him to occupy the second spot in the richest tech CEO’s rating. 4.7-inch iPhone Air concept [video]



A new concept of the new 4.7-inch iPhone Air was released by Sam Beckett. Let's have a look at the designer's idea of the coming iPhone.

The phone is only 8% larger than the existing iPhone 5S, this increase is to accommodate the larger screen. Some extra space could be potentially utilised by reducing the width of the side bezels and by also slimming down the top and bottom of the phone frame too. The depth of the iPhone Air is 7mm, coming in 0.6mm smaller than it's predecessor. This modest reduction in the device depth and larger increase in the width and height could help create a bigger space for the battery and other components.

comScore MobiLens and Mobile Metrix has analized the data concerning the situation on the smartphone market in the USA for January 2014. It turns out that Apple is on the rise, constantly increasing it share, while Android is falling behind. Blackberry lost the third place to Windows Phone.

iPhone 6 will boast a new LED backlight



LEDInside reports that the iPhone 6 will be slimmer, lighter and boast a new LED backlight specs.

According to sources from Apple supply chain, the iPhone 6 is likely to be released in June 2014, and will have larger monitor size of 4.7”. Industry insiders also projected the iPhone 6 will have a much lighter frame, which will lead to upgrades in LED backlight specs. In the previous generation, the iPhone used 0.6t side-view type LED, in contrast the new iPhone will probably be adopting 0.4t side-view type LED.
