Pangu to Release iOS 9.3.2 Jailbreak Soon - Rumor





Yesterday, at the Mobile Security Conference in Shanghai, the Pangu team teased the untethered jailbreak of iOS 10. Today, a new rumor appeared on the Internet suggesting that the hackers may soon release the jailbreak of iOS 9.3.2. According to people familiar with the matter, during the event, the developers were asked about privacy problems in iOS 9.3.2. Their answer hinted at possible release of the untethered jailbreak of this firmware version in the nearest future.

Pangu Team Teases iOS 10 Jailbreak [Images]



The Pangu team has recently demonstrated the untethered jailbreak of iOS 10. Unlike iH8Sn0w, who teased the jailbreak compatible only with older devices like the iPhone 5, the Chinese developers showed their jailbreak on the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6s that both feature new hardware. This means that the hackers used the exploits that are different from those utilized by iH8Sn0w earlier this year.

Developer Enables Dark Mode for Settings App in iOS 10



Additional proofs of Apple’s plans to bring a new system-wide Dark Mode to iPhones, iPads and iPod touch units have been recently found in the first beta of iOS 10. A developer named Andrew Wiik managed to turn on the rumored mode for the Settings app on his iPhone running the latest firmware version.

This means that Apple hasn’t patched all exploits that could be used to hack the devices running the latest version of company’s mobile operating system. Check Out These 75 New iOS 10 Features [Video]



Earlier this week, Apple unveiled iOS 10, the next version of the mobile operating system that is compatible with the iPhone 5, iPad 4, iPad mini 2 or newer as well as with the 6th generation iPod touch. Even though the update is currently available only as a beta, 9to5Mac’s Jeff Benjamin has just created a nice video showing all new features and improvements found in iOS 10. New iOS 10 Concept Reveals How Dark Mode May Look Like on iPhone



We all know that Apple may soon announce the next generation of its mobile operating system, iOS 10. Ahead of this big event, different rumors and mockups surface on the Internet suggesting how the new firmware version may look like.

Hackers Shows Browser Jailbreak [Video]



A well-known hacker Luca Todesco who has successfully jailbroken iOS 9.2, iOS 9.2.1, iOS 9.3, and the yet to be released publicly iOS 9.3.3 beta, has recently showed the untethered browser jailbreak of iOS 9.3.2. To hack an Apple-branded device, the developer used Apple’s native browser Safari, which, as it turns out, is quite vulnerable to such threats.

The video below depicts the sixth-generation iPod touch running iOS 9.3.2 and the process of browser-based jailbreak. Unfortunately, it is very unlikely that Todesco will release a public tool for jailbreak. According to the hacker, he’s mostly interested in research, not actual hacking of iPhones, iPads and iPod touch units running the latest firmware versions.

iOS 9.3.3 Has Been Jailbroken [Image]



A well-known hacker and developer Luca Todesco has recently jailbroken the latest version of iOS, iOS 9.3.3. Below you can take a look at the image showing Todesco’s iPod touch running Cydia 1.1.26. This image has been shared on Twitter by the hacker himself.

In case you don’t know, Luca Todesco is a person who demonstrated the untethered jailbreak of iOS 9.2, iOS 9.2.1, and iOS 9.3 beta in the past. Unfortunately, there’re currently no publicly available tools for jailbreak.

At the annual Worldwide Developers Conference in June, Apple is expected to announce the next version of the firmware for iPhones, iPads and iPod touch units, iOS 10. It is currently unknown if the exploits used to hack previous iOS builds work with this version.

Apple Pulls iOS 9.3.2 Update, Working on Fix for Bricked iPad Pro Units



Several days after the release of iOS 9.3.2 to users worldwide, Apple has pulled the update because of numerous reports claiming it bricks some 9.7-inch iPad Pro models. The company remains silent, but those iPad Pro users who haven’t yet updated their devices don’t see iOS 9.3.2 in the Software Update section. This indicates that the update has been indeed pulled and that Apple engineers are currently working on a fix for the problem.

Apple Releases iOS 9.3.2, Update Bricks Some iPad Pro Units



Apple has recently released iOS 9.3.2 with numerous bug fixes and a number of minor stability, security and performance enhancements to iPhone, iPad and iPod touch users worldwide.

According to the release notes, the latest update fixes the problem that caused various sound quality issues with Bluetooth accessories connected to the iPhone SE. Apart from that, iOS 9.3.2 addresses the issue with dictionary, VoiceOver and typing email addresses in the Mail and Messages apps while using certain keyboards.

According to the latest data shared by Apple, the iOS 9 adoption rate has recently reached 75%. What this means is that the number of active iPhone, iPad and iPod touch users has grown 5% since November. According to the latest data shared by Apple, the adoption rate of iOS 9 has recently reached 67%. The data is based on the App Store usage and reflects the number of active iPhone, iPad and iPod touch owners accessing the store to download applications and use Apple services. The adoption rate has grown only 1% since November 2nd, however, that’s not strange since Apple hasn’t released any firmware updates that usually boost the adoption speed.

iOS 9 Adoption Rate Reaches 61% - Apple



Apple has just announced the current iOS 9 adoption rate. According to the data based on the App Store usage, the most-recent version of Apple’s operating system for iPhones and iPads is installed on 61% of active devices. That’s a very good result, especially if to keep in mind that iOS 9 was released to public last month. The actual adoption rate may be slightly different as not all iOS devices access the App Store on a regular basis.
