Apple Releases iOS 6.1.1 Beta to Developers



Apple has released iOS 6.1.1 beta to developers. It’s only been a week since Apple released iOS 6.1 to the public. And it's just 48 hours after the iOS 6.x evasi0n jailbreak was released. Release notes indicate maps improvement and some other optimization. well, we understand that the main purpose of iOS 6.1.1 is probably to fix vulnerabilities used by envasi0n jailbreak.

Microsoft Said 128GB Surface Pro Ships With 83GB Of Free Storage



Today Apple announced that the new 128GB iPad model would go on sale on February 5th with a starting price of $799 – an attractive option for those who consider purchasing Surface Pro tablet when it debut on February 9th. Microsoft today also confirmed (via Engadget) that 45GB of storage space in the new Surface Pro will be used for Windows 8 and various preloaded applications, leaving owners of the 128GB model with 83GB of free storage. Pod2g confirmed that the Evad3rs Dev-Team is ready with a jailbreak for iOS 6.1 and credits Planetbeing and Pimskeks for the accomplishment in an interview with iDigitalTimes.

Amazon optimizes its MP3 store to attract customers using iOS devices.



Today, Amazon announced about optimization of the music store for Safari app on iOS devices. This move is the company's desire to dominate the digital music market.

"Since the launch of the Amazon Cloud Player app for iPhone and iPod touch, a top request from customers has been the ability to buy music from Amazon right from their devices. For the first time ever, iOS users have a way do that – now they can access Amazon’s huge catalog of music, features like personalized recommendations, deals like albums for $5, songs for $0.69, and they can buy their music once and use it everywhere,” said Steve Boom, Vice President of Amazon Music.

Google Launches Free Matching Music Service



Google added to its Google Play music service a new song matching service that is similar to iTunes Match. This means that users will no longer have to spend plenty of time uploading gigabytes of music as it was previously.

It is worth noting that users do not have to pay subscription fee for Google's matching service like with Apple and Amazon’s services. Last month this service was released for European Google Play, so this launch is new for U.S. users.
