iOS 7.1 vs 7.0.6 battery life test





ArsTechnica has developed a chart that shows us the influence iOS 7.1 has on the battery life of your device.

During this Wi-Fi browsing test the battery life of different devices on iOS 7.1 was compared with the one working on iOS 7.0.6. The finding showed that most of the scores differed within a few percent so can be accounted for by an error.

iOS 7.1 Adoption Rate in North America Reaches 12% in 45 Hours After Release



Although it is not recommended to upgrade to the latest iOS version if you have a jailbroken device, iOS 7.1 adoption rate in North America reached as many as 12% in just 45 hours after the official release, Chitika reports. Such results are based on online ad impressions from iOS-devices gathered between March 9th and March 12th, 2014.

iTunes Radio Becomes 3rd Most Popular Streaming Music Service in the USA



The latest estimates prove that iTunes Radio has become the third most popular streaming music service in the United States. iOS 7.0.6 Adoption Rate Reaches 13.3% in Just 48 Hours After Release



According to the latest report from Chitika Insights, Apple’s iOS 7.0.6 managed to reach 13.3% of adoption in the United States and Canada only 48 hours after the release. The reason for so many users to upgrade was an important security improvement. iPhone 6 is rumored to be released in July



Mizuho Securities analyst Abhey Lamba believes that the iPhone 6 will be released sooner than expected.

According to the analyst, checks in Asia and Japan show that the iPhone may be released in July, although these are only speculations as it is still long before summer. The only sign of release is the vendors being ready for a production ramp up earlier than prior years.

iWatch first year sales can become a record



According to Katy Huberty, Morgan Stanley analyst, Apple will reach $17.5 billion iWatch sales over the first year of release, showing a better performance than iPad with $12 billion in the launch year. Such optimistic forecast bases on the belief that iWatch will become an additional accessory for any iOS user rather than positioning itself as a completely new product.

Apple gets another claim for e-books price fixing



On Friday, another claim was filed over Apple for conspiring with publishes to fix E-Book prices. This time Cupertino company is believed to owe American E-Book customers at least $280 million in damages.  Steve Berman, who is the attorney representing the consumers, states that due to the conspiracy E-Books prices rose 18.1 percent, which lead to $280 million in damages.

State attorneys general and consumers who sued the world’s most valuable technology company over its e-book pricing are seeking $280 million in damages and want that amount tripled, a lawyer for them said in a filing yesterday with the federal judge in Manhattan who presided over the U.S. case against Apple.

Phil Schiller Tweets Links to Security Report Criticizing Google's Android
