15-inch Broadwell MacBook Pro: To Be or Not to Be?

The shipping times for many 15-inch Retina MacBook Pro models have recently begun slipping to 2 or 3 weeks. This indicates that the supplies of the high-end laptop continue to decline. It’s true that the guys from Cupertino may unveil a brand new 15-inch MacBook Pro model with a Broadwell processor inside at the Worldwide Developers Conference scheduled for June. However, keeping in mind that these chips are currently deeply constrained, I don’t think that the official announcement is imminent.

According to the latest industrial rendering, which appeared on the Internet on Friday, the long-awaited larger-screened iPad Pro may indeed get a 12.9-inch screen. As to the dimensions of the tablet, they might be as follows: 305.70mm x 222.60mm x 7.20mm. The most-recent rendering also proves the rumors about four speakers located at the top and the bottom of the device as well as the suggestions about Apple’s plans to leave the ports and buttons layout similar to the layout of the iPad Air 2.

According to the latest rumors, a firm called AU Optronics (AUO) will supply Apple with 4-inch, 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch display panels for the next generation of iPhones. iMac Shipping Estimates Improve to 3-5 Days in the USA

According to what can be seen at the U.S. Apple Online Store, the shipping estimates for all the 21.5-inch iMac models apart from the entry-level one, which is the cheapest, have recently slipped to 3-5 business days. This indicates that the guys from Cupertino do their best to catch up with the demand for this device. I wish they had the same situation with their Apple Watch, which is currently constrained.

Apple to Release iMac with 8K Screen Later This Year - LG Display

According to one interesting comment, which was originally found on the LG Display blog last week, Apple announced that it will release a brand new iMac with 8K display as soon as this year. Although the guys from Cupertino haven’t made any announcements connected either with the iMac, or its revamped screen, the rumor comes from a very reliable source. In case you don’t know, LG Display is one of Apple’s main suppliers, so I guess its representatives have access to the information about product releases. Anyway, I suggest you to take such a rumor with a few pinches of salt as its main purpose may lie in causing fuss around the new product.

Here's How 12-inch MacBook Air Display Assembly May Look Like [Images]

Earlier today, a couple of interesting images appeared on the Internet. These images show something very similar to the display assembly for the upcoming 12-inch MacBook Air, which is expected to be officially released later this year. On the photos that are available below one can see the leaked part compared to Apple’s 9.7-inch iPad Air 2 and the 13-inch MacBook Air. We can easily notice that the display assembly is a bit thicker than the body of the newest iPad, however, that is still thinner than a body of the existing MacBook.
