iH8Sn0w released Sn0wBreeze 2.9.13 that still supports untethered jailbreak of iOS 6.1.2. Version 2.9.13 fixes several issues and bugs found in earlier sn0wbreeze releases.

Sn0wbreeze 2.9.13 supports iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4 and iPod Touch 4G. It does not work with A5/A6 devices, like iPad 2, iPad 3, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, etc.

An Apple spokesperson explained (via The Next Web) that changes in Apple TV model revealed in FCC filings yesterday are strictly internal, and there will not be any new features. The Next Web also noted that the new Apple TV model will include Apple's A5X processor from the iPad 3 and upgraded Broadcom wireless chip. The external size of the new model will remain the same. Pod2g confirmed that the Evad3rs Dev-Team is ready with a jailbreak for iOS 6.1 and credits Planetbeing and Pimskeks for the accomplishment in an interview with iDigitalTimes.

According to a new report from DigiTimes, Apple is exploring the possibility of using IGZO displays in the iPad, iPad mini and iPhone in 2013. The report notes:

“The sources said Apple is in further discussions with Sharp over IGZO panel production capacity estimates for 2013 and is also inquiring about whether AU Optronics' (AUO) L5C line could be used to produce the technology”.

Digitimes reports that Apple will center next iPad mini’s improvements around the tablet’s display resolution. The report said:

“The sources have yet to specify whether the device will use Apple’s Retina Display technology to enhanced resolution, but market observers said it is highly likely based on the development of past Apple products such as the iPhone and 9.7-inch iPad series.”

Chpwn has posted an image showing Cydia running on a jailbroken iPad 4.

It doesn't look any different than on the iPad (3rd generation), but here's Cydia running on the iPad (4th generation): pic.twitter.com/zhrii6uX

Recently, MuscleNerd posted to show that the jailbreak discovered by chpwn was working for the iPad mini.

Last month, chpwn revealed that his jailbreak would be reserved as a failbreak. That means it will be limited to jailbreak developers and won't be released to the public. This is being done to make it easier to discover new exploits (which will be used for public release) in the future.

Today Apple reported that it sold 3 million new iPads in the first three days, doubling its last year’s record of 1.5 million iPad 3s sold during the first weekend. Of course, these numbers do not include cellular iPad models, but Apple said that those models would ship in a few weeks in many countries later this year. CEO Tim Cook said:
