New Rumors About 12-inch iPad Pro Appear Online



According to the latest report released by people familiar with the matter, Apple is currently working on a widely-rumored split-screen viewing mode for the iPad, which will allow users to work with two apps on a single screen simultaneously, multi-user login option as well as on two models of the long-awaited 12-inch iPad Pro codenamed “J98″ and “J99”. 'Test Model iPad from Apple' Stolen in Cupertino



According to the latest report from MercuryNews, something called a 'test model iPad from Apple' was stolen during a robbery and kidnapping in Cupertino. A man with the device was robbed by a couple. Two people threatened him with a knife, pepper-sprayed him in the face, took all his possessions and then forced him to get into their car. After driving near a mile from the scene of the crime, the couple released a man. At first, the victim had doubts about contacting the police, but five days after the incident finally reported this crime to the local sheriff's office.

A couple of images showing something very similar to the new third-party case for the long-anticipated 12-inch iPad Pro have been recently spotted online. While it is currently impossible to check the legitimacy of these photos, they show us an accessory, which is really similar to the one for the iPad Air. The case has nearly the same cutouts for volume rockers, mute switch, Power button, rear camera and Lightning connector. Apple Releases New Music-Themed iPad Air Ad [Video]



The guys from Cupertino have recently released a new music-themed iPad ad devoted to the 57th annual Grammy Awards. The short commercial is entitled "Change" and it shows us three creative personalities using Apple’s tablets for their work. These personalities are Gaslamp Killer, a producer from Los Angeles, DJ Riton from England and Swedish singer Elliphant. Samsung to Produce 75% of A9 Chips for New iPhones and iPads



About a month ago, a rumor appeared on the Internet, which suggested that Samsung will become Apple's primary A9 chip supplier. Although this rumor contradicted with previous reports from reliable insiders, who believed both Samsung and Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) would supply the company from Cupertino with chips for next-generation iPhones and iPads, it looked quite plausible.

Yesterday, a new report from a South Korean newspaper called Maeil Business was spotted on the Net. According to this report, Samsung will get 75% of orders for the production of the A9 chip. The same report also notes that the processor for the new iPhone and probably iPad Air and iPad mini may be manufactured at the factory in Austin, Texas.

12-inch MacBook Air to Feature Polished Metal Logo?



Yesterday, I told you about the leaked images showing something similar to the display assembly for the 12-inch MacBook Air. As it turns out, I didn't mention one conspicuous detail about the next-generation laptop. This detail is the new redesigned logo on the lid, which may lose its backlight and become a rather boring polished logo similar to the one from the iPad Air 2.

Here's How 12-inch MacBook Air Display Assembly May Look Like [Images]



Earlier today, a couple of interesting images appeared on the Internet. These images show something very similar to the display assembly for the upcoming 12-inch MacBook Air, which is expected to be officially released later this year. On the photos that are available below one can see the leaked part compared to Apple’s 9.7-inch iPad Air 2 and the 13-inch MacBook Air. We can easily notice that the display assembly is a bit thicker than the body of the newest iPad, however, that is still thinner than a body of the existing MacBook.

A new photo showing something very similar to the mold for the production of the long-anticipated larger iPad Pro back panel appeared on a Chinese microblogging website Weibo. While there’s no way to confirm the legitimacy of the image, the production mold depicted on it may be indeed for Apple’s tablet with an enormous 12-inch display. Still, it can be an unofficial mold used to create iPad Pro dummies and physical mockups of the device.
