iPhone 5S will boast a 120 FPS Slow Motion Camera?



Every new iPhone always features its own unique points, completely different from what its predecessors had. In case of iPhone 5S there are quite a few. The rumored fingerprint scanner is followed by another development – a 120FPS slow motion camera. It is believed that iPhone 5S will also boast really cool camera pack, including a dual LED flash and a 13MP sensor.

Currently Apple is designing a new camera feature for iPhone. It is a mode called “Mogul”. The latter will enable iPhone to capture video in a fast and precise way, at a rate of 120 frames-per-second (FPS). Unfortunately, the resolution of the 120 FPS is still unclear.

Foxconn's Hiring Workers for the iPhone 6



According to China Business News, Foxconn’s currently hiring new workers for, presumably, a next generation iPhone. As the source claim, the recruitment firm, which works with Foxconn, has recently began a campaign aimed to find people capable of assembling the new Apple device.

iPhone reaches Android sales in May



According to recent market research, carried out by Kantar Worldpanel, Android remains the leader in smartphone market with 52% share. Apple is market challenger with 41,9 %, which is 3,5% higher than over the same period last year.

iOS success is put down to the agreement of T-Mobile to work with iPhone 5. The carrier picked up its best-selling smartphone only in the middle of April, but since then the sales have increased considerably. Currently 31% of carrier’s models are iPhones.

Apple Releases iOS 7 Beta 3 to Developers



Apple has just released iOS 7 beta 3 firmware for developers. it is not known yet what's changed, however it probably includes bug fixes and performances enhancements (what's new is available here).

iOS 7 beta 3 is available for all devices: iPhone 5, iPhone 4S, iPhone 4, iPod touch 5G, iPad Mini, iPad 2, iPad 3 and iPad 4. Developers can update via Software Update or download in the developer center.

Update: The update is safe for non-developers without a UDID using the 'update' trick. Tutorial is here.

iPhone 5 sells twice as fast as Galaxy 4



According to a recent market research, Samsung spent twice as much time to ship 20 millions Galaxy 4 units as Apple for shipping the same amount of iPhone 5.

Judging by official opening weekend numbers and quarterly earnings reports, it took Apple 25 days to ship 20 million items, a month less than Samsung figure. Moreover, over the launch period Apple shipped 805,000 units per days, whereas Samsung sold half as many, about 333,000.

Apple's New Patents



Another good day for Cupertino company – Hong Kong IP Office has recently granted Apple 16 patents for its devices. New Apple Strategy to Sell More iPhones via Apple Store



Apple CEO Tim Cook is reported to have held a three-hour meeting on new sales strategy for company’s employees and shareholders. According to 9to5Mac, he was talking on possible ways to increase the number of iPhones sold through the Apple Store. So far, the percentage of phones bought on the Internet or from other retailers like Walmart and Best Buy is close to 80. Quite obvious, that the result of only 20 percent is not enough good as for the company's main retail store.
