Electronic Arts published a major update to the awesome free-to-play game Real Racing 3. The update brings over a hundred new events and Chevy vehicles. Another feature many users have been waiting for is the improved game saving capability: in Real Racing 3 version 1.1, your progress is now saved and synced across all your devices via the cloud.

After the introduction of the Facebook Home feature, a new level of user-focused integration for Android devices, Fortune has published an interview with Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Facebook, in which he discusses a number of topics, including the rivalry between Apple and Google in the mobile handset market.
M.I.C Gadget reports that a new lawsuit at Apple were filed by the Shanghai Animation Film Studio. Apple allegedly permitted the sale of films without the consent of the Studio. Given that Apple does not directly sell the audio or video content through the iTunes Store in China, it seems that the problem is with movies provided through third-party applications in the App Store.
According to The Guardian's report, today Apple added a new tagline "Offers In-App Purchases" directly underneath the Free/Buy button for App Store apps that support the feature. The tagline helps make clear to users that paid or free apps may require additional in-app purchases in order to enable apps’ full functionality or receive other benefits such as in-game currency. The report notes:
According to The Wall Street Journal, patent holding company Intertrust has filed a lawsuit against Apple, alleging that Cupertino-based company infringes on 15 of its patents. Intertrust licenses and invents technologies for digital rights management and currently holds more than 150 patents.
Tom’s Hardwarepublished results of a detailed performance test of a Core i7 Haswell processor, which suggest that it will offer 7-13% performance increase over equivalent Ivy Bridge chips – a similar increase experienced with the transition from Sandy Bridge to Ivy Bridge.
According to The New York Times, Apple is going to undercut its future competitors in respect of royalty rates for its upcoming streaming music service, offering a rate that is just half as large as the rate paid by Pandora despite speculations that Apple is planning to offer more flexibility than allowed by the Pandora’s license. The report said:
Today Google updated its Google Maps app for iOS with version 1.1. This is the first update since the company released its standalone app in December after Apple replaced Google’s Maps app with its mapping solution in iOS 6.
The update brings several improvements to Google Maps, including easier searching for local places and integrations with Google Contacts.
