Mac Sales Are Extremely Weak, but Market Share Continues to Rise - Analysts



According to the latest reports from well-known and reliable IDC and Gartner analysts, Apple’s Mac sales in the third quarter of this year demonstrate the weakest results in the course of the last two years. Still, PC sales fell by 7.7% (Gartner) or 10.8% (IDC), and the market share of Mac computers grew from 6.9% to either 7.6% (Gartner) or 7.5% (IDC). It is currently unclear how many Macs Apple actually shipped to customers in Q3 2015 as Gartner reports about 5.6 million units and IDC claims the number was equal to 5.3 million units.

Apple to Launch 21.5-inch Retina iMac Next Week, iPad Pro to Hit Store Shelves in November



According to the latest report from people familiar with the matter, Apple is planning to launch a 21.5-inch iMac with Retina display as soon as next week. Apple Remains World’s Most Valuable Brand in 2015



According to the latest data shared by a research firm Interbrand, Apple remains the most valuable brand in the world. The first place in the annual rating has been occupied by the Cupertino company since 2013, when Apple surpassed a long-time leader, Coca-Cola, and took the lead. As noted by the experts, Apple value is now equal to $170.27 billion. That’s an increase of $51.4 billion or as many as 43% in comparison with the last year’s results.

A9 Chips from Samsung and TSMC Are Different in Size - Chipworks



As you know, Apple’s iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus feature a brand new A9 processor. This processor is manufactured by two separate companies, namely, Samsung and Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company. iPhone 7 to Be Waterproof and Dustproof - Rumor



According to the latest report from usually-reliable website Macotakara, the next-generation iPhone will be waterproof and dustproof. This device, called presumably the iPhone 7, will also feature a non-metallic frame and a new LCD. What’s even more interesting is that Apple has already created a prototype.
