German Court Struck Down Provisions In Apple’s Privacy Policy
Bloomberg, a German court has told Apple to change its privacy policy governing the use of customer data after ruling that 8 provisions in the policy go against German consumer protection laws.
The lawsuit has been filed by consumer group Verbraucherzentrale Bundesverband, which raises concerns over Apple requesting 'global consent' for use of customer’s data.

Mass Production Of iPad Mini Retina Displays To Start In June Or July
Following yesterday’s report from DisplaySearch analysts which indicated that a Retina iPad mini would launch in a third quarter, the company today CNET that production of Retina displays for the next iPad mini should start in June or July.
Analyst Expects Retina iPad Mini Updates In 3Q 2013 and 1Q 2014
An analyst Richard Shim from NPD DisplaySearch claims () that Apple is going to release two updated iPad mini devices.
"We see two refreshes coming. One in the second half of this year, then one in Q1 [first quarter] of 2014," analyst Richard Shim told CNET late Sunday night.
"The Q1 [2014] device will have a Retina display plus an updated processor," Shim added.
Jony Ive’s Design Overhaul Could Lead To Delays For iOS 7

Chat App Traffic Has For The First Time Overtaken SMS Messaging
According to research firm Informa (), app-based messaging traffic has for the first time overtaken SMS text messaging.
“Informa said almost 19 billion messages were sent per day on chat apps in 2012, compared with 17.6 billion SMS texts … It has projected that nearly 50 billion messages will be sent per day using these apps by 2014, compared with just over 21 billion traditional SMSs”.

Foxconn Hiring New Workers For iPhone 5S Production

"Workers have been recruited at Foxconn’s plant in Zhengzhou, eastern China, for the past month, ending a hiring freeze imposed in February, said the person, who asked not to be named because the plans haven’t been made public.
