Leaked Back Panel Proves iPhone 6s Will Be Lighter and Stronger





More and more things point to the release of the next-generation iPhone on September 9th. Yesterday, I showed you a video featuring the iPhone 6s front panel with display assembly compared to the same parts of the iPhone 6. Today, a new video appeared on the Unbox Therapy YouTube channel that shows the leaked back panel for the upcoming handset.

Apple to Unveil New iPhones, iPads and Apple TV on September 9th?



As I have already told you, the release of the next-generation iPhone and a number of other gadgets is expected to take place this fall. According to usually reliable BuzzFeed reporter John Paczkowski, the guys from Cupertino will show us the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus at a media event on September 9th. Paczkowski notes that Apple may also unveil the next-generation iPad and a brand new Apple TV with a faster A8 processor, its own App Store and other improvements at the same event. If to speak about the larger 12.9-inch iPad, it will be officially announced later, possibly in October or November.

iPhone Market Share Grows in Europe, but Falls in the USA - Kantar



According to the latest report from Kantar Worldpanel ComTech, in the second quarter of 2015, iPhone’s market share grew noticeably in such countries as Britain, Germany, France, Italy and Spain. The share on Apple’s native U.S. market saw a decrease. It should be noted, however, that this happens every year before the release of the new iPhone model.

Leaked Image Showing Battery for Next-Gen iPhone Appears Online



A photo showing something similar to the battery for the upcoming iPhone 6s has recently appeared on the Internet. The image has been first spotted and shared by French reporters from  Nowhereelse.fr, so I think we can believe what we see.

Although the battery contains all the usual references to Apple’s battery supplier, its capacity leaves much to be desired. As can be seen on the image below, the leaked part has a capacity of only 1715 mAh, which indicates that it may have been manufactured for the smaller 4-inch iPhone. In case you don’t know, the guys from Cupertino have reportedly decided to put off the release of a smaller handset until the next year.

iPhone 6s Logic Board Features New More Efficient Chips



According to the images shared by reliable sources, the next-generation iPhone may get an updated logic board with a new NFC chip and better flash storage. Apple Adds 35 New Banks to List of Supported by Apple Pay



As you probably know, Apple’s NFC-based payments system called Apple Pay is currently available only in the United States of America. The guys from Cupertino are working hard to increase the number of partners supporting their service. A strong indication of their effort is the fact that they are constantly updating the list of supported banks and financial institutions. According to the latest document published by Apple, Apple Pay has recently begun working with 35 new banks in the USA. The total number of partners among financial institutions is now close to 300. If to take into account the number of retailers and shops across the USA, the total number will be even larger.

Apple to Use Brand New Technology for Production of Touch Panels for iPad Pro



As you probably know, Apple is currently working on a larger 12.9-inch iPad called presumably iPad Pro. This device may feature the support of Force Touch, NFC, USB-C port and a Bluetooth stylus. According to the latest report from ETNews, the tablet will also boast of an AgNW touch-panel produced by LG Display, Samsung Display, Japan Display, or any other supplier. The guys from Cupertino have recently requested first samples of this new component.

Samsung Announces Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge



Samsung has just announced its two new flagships, namely, Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge. This happened at the annual conference called Mobile World Congress.
