Today research company IDC a new report for the first quarter of 2013 tracking down shipments of mobile phones by OS.
The report shows that iOS and Android continue to dominate the market with 92,3% of shipments during the quarter. iOS marked its largest 1Q shipment volume with 34.7 million units shipped. iOS’s market share decreased from 23% to 17,3% year over year, while Android increased its market share from 59.2% to 75%.
