KGI Securities expert Ming-Chi Kuo claims that the new iPhone 5S will be available in gold and have 128GB of memory on board. Combined with the latest product parts leaks, his words seem to make sense:

Leaked Phtos of iPhone 5C's Volume Rockers



Sonny Dickson, an Australian writer, has posted some photos of what can possibly be the new lower cost plastic iPhone’s volume rockers on his website. The buttons differ in color -  there’re green, yellow, red and blue ones to match the iPhone 5C's back shell, which is also said to be painted these colors.

Norwegian Government Blocks Apple from Capturing a 3D Map of Oslo



Norwegian government blocks Apple from capturing its capital - Oslo - in 3D for the iOS and Mac Maps apps, reports 9to5mac with reference to Aftenposten, a Norwegian newspaper. The reason for such a decision is that the Norway’s National Security Authority doesn’t want Apple to mark the confidential buildings and areas situated in the capital on its Maps application.

Some new lower cost iPhone and iPhone 5S mockups leaked online. This time it’s a Vietnamese website Tinhte that is the author of the photos. This site, by the way, is famous for the pre-release Apple gadgets reviews, so I guess we can trust it.

Comparitive iPhone 5 and iPhone 5S photos



Have a look at the high quality photos, that show the similarities and differences between the alleged digitizer and lcd screen assembly of the iPhone 5S with that of the iPhone 5.

As you can see, the main differences are in the the ribbon cables and the screw placement. This means that some modifications were made to the logic board. Unfortunately, as you can see, there is nothing that could prove the appearance of the rumored fingerprint scanner in the new version.

Front and Back Panels of iPhone Lite Leaked Online in a Video



There’s a new video posted by Mac Otakara that shows the front and back panels of the rumored lower cost iPhone 5C. This is by the way the first video ever where we can see the front panel of the would-be device.

Let’s get to the video. In the short clip the two leaked details are compared with the iPhone 5. Well, nothing unusual here. As to the back shell, it looks just the same as the panels leaked before, however, the legal notices that were spotted earlier this week are missing.

Anyway, the video also shows us the front panel. It seems that the lower cost iPhone would get the same bunch of sensors and a front facing camera - just like his “older brother” iPhone 5.
