According to the latest images shared by Bloomberg, Apple is using the while Lexus RX450h SUV with a number of sensors and cameras to test an autonomous driving system developed by the company engineers. The sensors the company has used in its cars have reportedly been purchased from the suppliers, not developed internally or custom-made.

Apple Is Finalizing Design of Amazon Echo Competitor



According to the latest data shared by a well-known insider Sonny Dickson, Apple is finalizing the design of the design of its Amazon Echo competitor. The device will support Siri and AirPlay, moreover, it will have some Beats technologies integrated into it. Finally, it will work on an iOS version developed specifically for this device, Dickson added. The name or release date of the mysterious gadget remain unknown.

New schematic showing something similar to the iPhone 8 rear panel has leaked online. The image is interesting as it shows the dual camera placed vertically as well as what appears to be a wireless charging component. It’s difficult to say if the component depicted below is legitimate or not as it was shared by an unknown sources on the Chinese social network Weibo. Leaked iPhone 8 Image Reveals Touch ID on the Back



A well-known insider Sonny Dickson has shared an image showing leaked schematics of the iPhone 8. The most surprising and awkward thing about the image is the location of the Touch ID fingerprint scanner cutout. It is placed on the back panel, just below the Apple logo. Currently, all iPhone models have Touch ID integrated into the Home button on the front size of the handset.

iPhone 8 to get Stainless Steel Frame and Vertical Camera – Rumor



Japanese reporters from Macotakara believe the next-generation iPhone has reached the DVT (Design Validation Test) stage ahead of start of mass production later this year. According to the latest report, the phone features a stainless steel frame that is placed in between the front and back glass panels. The design of the handset is a bit similar to the design of the iPhone 4, even though the iPhone 8 is larger, thinner and has an OLED display along with other notable improvements.

Apple May Ditch Touch ID in iPhone 8 – Analyst



According to the latest report from Andy Hargreaves, equity research analyst at Pacific Crest Securities, the iPhone 8 may lack the Touch ID fingerprint scanner. Apple has troubles with integrating the sensor under iPhone’s display, and this may lead either to a complete switch to 3D sensing technology that will be capable of recognizing the user with his face, or a delay in the OLED iPhone 8 production.
