Apple Officially Announces Results in Fiscal Q4 2016



Apple announced its financial results in the fourth fiscal quarter of 2016 marking the decline in sales and revenue.

According to figures shared by the company, quarterly revenue accounted for $46.9 billion and quarterly net income totalled in $9 billion. International sales made 62% of the revenue. In the year-ago quarter, Apple reported about revenue of $51.5 billion and net quarterly profit of $11.1 billion.

Apple to Sell More iPhones Thanks to Galaxy Note 7 Failure



According to the latest report from usually-reliable KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple and Huawei will benefit from Samsung’s problems with the Galaxy Note 7. Kuo and other experts agree that a large number of Samsung customers will switch to either iPhone or Huawei devices due to the fact that these devices have new dual cameras. Mac Shipments Continue to Decline - Gartner



According to the latest report from Gartner, Mac shipments declined 13.4% in the last quarter. Apple managed to sell only 4.9 million Mac units that accounted for the market share of 7.2%. As to the global computer market, it is experiencing problems as well. PC shipments in Q3 2016 reached 68.9 million, which is a decline of 5.7% year-over-year.

Replacement Galaxy Note 7 Units Burst into Flames Too



Another replacement Samsung Galaxy Note 7 has caught fire making the company’s claim that new devices are safe an absurd. The device started smoking in the hands of 13-year-old girl Abby Zuis from Farmington who suddenly felt “burning sensation" while holding the handset. Fortunately for the girl and her parents, she suffered only minor burns.

Apple Confirms iPhone 7 Launch Dates for New Countries



Apple has confirmed the iPhone 7 and Apple Watch Series 2 launch dates for a couple of new countries.

In particular, on October 14th, local retailers will start selling new devices in Macao, Macedonia, Malaysia, Montenegro, and Turkey. On October 15th, the iPhone 7 will become available in Jordan and Oman. On October 20th, both new handsets and smartwatches will go on sale in Israel. Finally, on October 21st, the sales of the iPhone 7 and Apple Watch will begin in Maurice, Madagascar, Maroc, Ukraine, and Uganda.

Apple launched the iPhone 7 in India on Friday. Currently, the new device is available on all major markets.

Apple Watch Sales to Decline in 2016 - Analyst



According to the latest report from KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple will sell fewer Apple Watch units this year compared to 2015. In particular, the expert has reviewed his previous predictions and claimed the smartwatch sales will fall 15-25% in the upcoming quarters. These numbers include the sales of both Apple Watch Series 2 and Series 1. Total shipments in 2016 will reportedly account for 8.5-9.0 million units, down from 10.4 million in 2015.

Several New iPads Coming This Fall - Makotakara



According to the latest report from Makotakara, Apple is planning to release updated 7.9-inch, 10.1-inch, and 12.9-inch iPad models.
