Free Clock for iPhone [AppStore, Free]





Do you want clock with seconds or just full screen clock in both landscape and portrait modes? If yes these two free apps are for you.

The first one is called ClockFS. AppStore link. Nice changable interface. Right in application user can choose text and background color, and one of 11 different fonts.

The second app is called digiClock24. AppStore link. Settings are external, you need to go to Settings and scroll down to digiClock24. They are limited to time format and showing seconds. No changeable backgrounds and fonts.

iPhone 3G with modified baseband



DevTeam, the team that is working on iPhone 3G unlock, publishd a screenshot. This screenshot shows, that a modified baseband is running. This is one more small step towards iPhone 3G software unlock.

iPhone powered notebook



MobiFrance points us to this intriguing company: http://olo-computer.com/. It looks like they’re intending on developing a low-cost sort of Netbook, but with a difference — it will be powered by the iPhone. The idea is you plug your iPhone into the bottom and it not only becomes the touchpad for the Netbook, it also powers the thing entirely, the rest of the hardware is simply a keyboard, screen, and a few other bits to make it all run.

The idea is nice but very far from being implemented.

South Park iPhone Application



The South Park guys have cooked up a killer iPhone application. It's not yet available in the iTunes App Store.

There is ability to stream clips, grab wallpapers for your device, read news, and browse the complete episode index. Also: choose character likenesses as "contact images" for your iPhone -- assign a face to the phone book entry of your choice. An incoming call from best friend displays Kyle or Cartman and more.
