New iPhone 8 Concept Hits YouTube [Video]



If you’re waiting for the next-generation iPhone and iOS 11, you might like the new concept created by a designer Vianney le Masne. In the short video below we can see the iPhone 8 featuring a borderless OLED display, new iteration of iOS with Dark Mode and slightly tweaked design and features.

The designer notes that adding a black theme to the iOS interface together with the OLED display will create a unique experience for users. Changing the handset in such a way is an improvement that many people hope to see in the 10 anniversary iPhone.

iPhone 7 Plus Catches Fire, Apple Promises to Investigate Issue



According to the latest report shared by Mashable, an iPhone 7 Plus that belonged to Brianna Olivas smoked and melted one day after being diagnosed as fully working at the Apple Store. Nobody was injured, but the phone melted and became totally useless. The video showing the melting iPhone was shared by Brianna on Twitter. The short video went viral and now has more than 1 million views.

A well-known insider Evan Blass has just revealed key specs of the upcoming iPhone 8 and iPhone 7s Plus rival, the Galaxy S8+. According to what can be found on his Twitter, the handset will get a 6.1-inch or 6.2-inch AMOLED display, 4GB or RAM, and an iris scanner. iPhone 6 Plus Bursts into Flames Again



Another iPhone caught fire while being plugged in at night. The incident took place in Palm Harbor, Florida on Tuesday. Amanda Bentz’s iPhone 6 Plus started making a hissing sound and then the battery burst into flames. Luckily, the woman woke up and asked her husband to put out the fire, so nobody was hurt that night.

iPhone 8 to get New 3D Touch Sensor – Analyst



According to the latest report from usually reliable analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the next-generation iPhone will feature a new 3D Touch sensor compatible with new wraparound OLED display panel that is supposed to be used in the handset. This new panel will be more sensitive and offer users more levels of pressure levels. To make the new sensor stronger and reinforce the entire structure of the OLED panel, Apple will use an additional layer of metal, Kuo says.

Apple Got 36th Place in ‘Best Places to Work’ Ranking



Apple is losing its status of the best company to work for. In the annual “Best Places to Work” ranking the tech giant slipped to the 36th place. In 2015, Apple was on 25th place and the year before – on the 22nd. The ranking is based on the poll conducted among the employees by a research firm Glassdoor.
