13-inch and 15-inch Touch Bar MacBook Pro Units Have Non-Removable SSDs



According to the latest report from MacRumors, both 13-inch and 15-inch MacBook Pro units with Touch Bar don’t have removable SSDs. That’s a bit of surprise, since the entry-level 13-inch model with function keys instead of the touch sensitive OLED panel has a removable storage chip and thus allows users to upgrade the SSDs on their own if they need more storage.

New MacBook Pro Can’t Get More than 16GB of RAM



The new MacBook Pro can only be upgraded to 16GB of RAM. The reason to think so was the fact that Apple did not announce a model with higher RAM capacity during its “Hello Again” event this Thursday. Today, Apple’s SVP Phil Schiller confirmed that 16GB is the maximum RAM amount one can get on the MacBook Pro. You can’t go beyond that due to battery life concerns.

Apple Unveiled New MacBook Pro [Images & Videos]



Apple has just announced the long-awaited 13-inch and 15-inch MacBook Pro.

The ‘Pro’ model features a brighter and sharper Retina display, new OLED touch bar capable of performing a wide range of features, Touch ID scanner for Apple Pay, keyboard with a second-generation butterfly mechanism, dual speakers, and a new hinge. Apart from that, the updated MacBook Pro is equipped with a bunch of Thunderbolt 3 ports.

iPhone 6 Plus Catches Fire, Apple Investigates Issue



As it turns out, it’s not only the Galaxy Note 7 units that explode or catch fire. According to the latest report from KFSN, the iPhone 6 Plus exploded in the middle of the night causing minor damage to the furniture and other possessions of Yvette Estrada from California.

Apple Releases New iPhone 7 Ad [Video]



Ahead of the official release of the new iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, Apple has released a new short commercial devoted to both handsets. The video highlights improved cameras, water resistance, better battery life, dual speakers, and glossy black design of new iPhones. The ad is available either below or on Apple’s official YouTube channel, so you can watch it right now.

New cameras. Water-resistant. Stereo speakers. Longer battery life. This is 7.

Apple announced new iPhone 7 and 7 Plus last Wednesday. The pre-orders went live on September 9th.
