Leaked Parts Reveal Gold Colored SIM Card Tray and Buttons for iPhone 5S





Several reports predicted that the iPhone 5S would be available in colors other than black and white, such as gold, green, and more. Now we have more proof. Some more parts allegedly for the iPhone 5S have been leaked online by iColorOS showing a gold colored SIM card tray, volume buttons and silent switch. Nowhereelse, who found the photos, notes that iColorOS has been reliable in the past.

iPad 5 will probably look like a big iPad Mini



A photo of the glass front panel for the iPad 5 has allegedly leaked online, reports Apple.pro. The image was posted to photobucket by hihiapple.

As expected the panel features a bezel similar to the iPad mini with narrow sides. Recently a video was leaked (see below) showing several cases supposedly manufactured for the iPad 5. Those also featured the same design.

The Loop's Jim Dalrymple has posted his thoughts on WWDC repeatedly stating that Apple will not announce a new iPhone or iPad at the event; however, some are still hoping that Apple could surprise us.

Almost every iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch user faces a problem of listening music at home. Some use headphones, others listed through embedded speakers, however everybody wants to connect their gadget to some loud high quality home stereo system.

Apple Photographer Details The Creative Process Of Creating Product Photos



Apple is known for the simple, no-frills photos of its mobile devices and, as it turned out, a lot of effort goes into creating those images. To throw some light on Apple’s creative process, The Verge interviewed a photographer Peter Belanger, who has worked with Apple for many years. Belanger reveals that Apple pays extreme attention to details when it comes to photos of its products, providing him with sketches and an extensive shot list.

Apple Began Countdown To Fifty Billion App Downloads



Apple has began a new iTunes countdown, offering a gift card for $10,000 to a customer who downloads the fifty billionth app, similar to earlier promotions on the App Store. During its most recent earnings call Apple said that it has surpassed 45 billion total app downloads.

Apple Patents: iPhone Used As Car’s Smart-Key And Parking Locator For Cars



Patently Apple reported on a two car-related patent applications from Apple, one helping you locate your car that is parked in a large car-park, the other allowing you to use the iPhone as a smart-key.

The smart-key concept is based on using a Bluetooth connection from the iPhone to unlock the car, which could be performed either manually or through a proximity rule, unlocking the car as you approach it.

Amazon Working On Competitor To Apple’s TV Set-Top Box



Bloomberg Businessweek reports that Amazon is working on a set-top box to stream video content over the Internet via its Instant Video and Amazon Prime services.

The box will compete with similar products like the Roku and the Apple TV, as well with a more versatile devices such as Sony's Playstation and Microsoft's Xbox that have moved into the streaming video field in recent years. The report notes:

Survey Shows Pre-Release Demand For Apple’s iWatch Is On Par With iPad



According to a ChangeWave survey, consumers show a similar level of interest in purchasing a rumored iWatch from Apple, as were interested in buying an iPad just before the Apple tablet was announced.

14 percent of respondents indicated that they are ‘somewhat’ likely and 5 percent ‘very’ likely to purchase an iWatch, with current owners of Apple products significantly more likely to buy an iWatch.

Amazon Acquired Siri-Competitor ‘Evi’ For $26 Million?



According to a report from TechCrunch, Amazon has acquired natural language search platform Evi for $26 million. Originally, the Evi app was distributed through the App Store, but Apple had threatened to delete the app over similarities to Siri. However, later the company said that it would "work with" the developer to reduce similarities. Evi was first launched in early 2012 and it is still available on the App Store as a free download. The Mac version SimCity will arrive on June 11th



EA announced that a new game SimCity will be available for the Mac from June 11. Players will be able to purchase a Mac version of SimCity via digital download from the Origin, digital Steam-like store of EA that launched this year, as well as other digital providers. The owners of the PC version of SimCity will receive a free version for Mac and vice versa.

Leaked iPad 5 Front Bezel



An image of a front bezel allegedly for the iPad 5 has been leaked on nowhereelse.

A picture that was sent to us by one of our moles Chinese may indeed be the first evidence the imminent release of the next iPad. Supposedly produced to equip the iPad 5, the side edges of the front panel display that you can see in the picture below cons are indeed much finer than the front of the current iPad 4 or iPad Retina. The proportions of this framework are at first glance similar to the part of the iPad Mini.
