Apple Expects to Lure 100 Million Users to Apple Music?





According to the latest report from people familiar with the matter, the guys from Cupertino hope that about 100 million people will sign up for their brand new Beats-based streaming music service that is expected to be announced in just a couple of minutes at the Worldwide Developers Conference keynote. Although Apple hasn’t confirmed this rumor, it appears that it comes from a reliable source familiar with the plans of the tech giant. I think we can believe this rumor.

Universal Releases First 'Steve Jobs' Movie Trailer [Video]



As you probably know, Universal is currently working on a new Steve Jobs biopic, which is expected to be released on October, 9th. The movie is directed by Danny Boyle and is based on the script written by Aaron Sorkin. Michael Fassbender is starring as Apple co-founder and CEO Steve Jobs.

Nearly half a year before the official debut of the long-awaited biopic, Universal has released the very first trailer for the movie. It is available below, so you can take a look and then tell me what you think about this short clip.

Prices for AppleCare+ for Apple Watch Will Depend on Model You Choose - Rumors



At the “Spring Forward” media event back in March, the guys from Cupertino announced that the AppleCare+ program will be available for Apple Watch customers. However, they somehow failed to mention the prices for this extended support service.

iPhone 6C Will Cost About $400-500 and Feature A8 Processor?



As you already know, Apple is reportedly working on a 4-inch iPhone 6C, which will be released alongside the 4.7-inch iPhone 6s and the 5.5-inch iPhone 6s Plus later this year. According to the most-recent rumors, the handset may be equipped with a 20-nanometer A8 processor manufactured by Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company. The sources also claim that the iPhone 6C will get a price tag of $400-500, which is lower than the current price of the iPhone 5s. The experts believe Apple will sell as many as 20 million iPhone 6C units in the first year after launch.

Apple Releases New Movie-Themed iPad Air Commercial



The guys from Cupertino have recently released a new iPad Air ad. It is called Make a film with iPad and it is devoted to the annual Academy Awards ceremony. The release of the short commercial comes two weeks after the release of the previous music-themed video called Make Music with iPad. Average Selling Price of the iPhone Is $687, Price of Android Devices - $254



According to what reliable insiders write, the average selling price of the iPhone grew to enormous $687 last quarter. Well, that is not strange, especially if to keep in mind that Apple has always been making the most luxurious and the most expensive handsets in the world. What is interesting and a bit shocking is the fact that the average price of the Android smartphone is $254. As it turns out, Apple’s smartphones are 2.7 times more expensive than those with Android OS on board.

Filming for Steve Jobs Biopic Continues at De Anza College



Universal Pictures has recently started filming first scenes for the long-anticipated Steve Jobs biopic written by Aaron Sorkin and directed by Danny Boyle. Earlier this week, the film crew was seen at the Flint Center at De Anza college, where Steve Jobs officially announced the very first Mac back in 1984.

According to what the analyst Timothy Arcuri of Cowen and Company writes, next year, Apple may return to the 4-inch form factor and release the low-end smartphone called probably the iPhone 6s mini. Russian Apple Online Store Is Back After Several Days of Outage, Prices Are 35% Higher



I have a piece of news for Russian customers: local Apple Online Store is currently back after being inactive for a couple of days due to noticeable currency exchange variations in the country. Apple has decided to shut down the website to adjust prices for its gadgets and accessories. As a result, the worth of hardware in the store is currently 35% higher than a week ago. Well, I must admit that the increase in prices is quite noticeable.

U.S. President Signs E-Label Act Turning It into Law



President Obama has recently signed the E-Label Act, which would allow Apple and other companies not to place Federal Communications Commission (FCC) certification stamps on back panels of smartphones and tablets. Apple has recently stopped signing the first beta of iOS 8.1.1, but hasn't yet released the second one. This indicates that the official release of iOS 8.1.1 may take place in the near future. Just for you to understand: once the new version is released, the guys from Cupertino will stop signing iOS 8.1, making it impossible to jailbreak your device using Pangu8 as well as to restore it to this version of the operating system. As you already know, iOS 8.1.1 kills Pangu jailbreak, so you should not upgrade if you want to keep your iPhone jailbroken.

Meet Another Possible Apple Watch Rival: Microsoft Band

The new wearable device is called Microsoft Band and I must admit it is totally different from the Apple Watch and other market rivals.
