Top 10 Stories of the Week

It is Sunday today, so I think it is time for me to tell you about the most interesting articles we have published on our website during the past couple of days. Apple Pencil Torture Test Appears on YouTube [Video]

As it was already mentioned on our website, the iPad Pro went on sale on November 11th. Together with this device, Apple released one smart accessory targeted at designers, photographers and all those who plan to use the 12.9-inch tablet for work. This accessory is called the Apple Pencil and this is a stylus capable of functioning on the 3D Touch display of the large tablet.

The Apple Pencil is equipped with a Lightning connector for charging and this is probably the weakest component of the device that can be easily broken by neglectful users while being on charge. At least you might think so.

Here’s How You Can Weigh Plums Using iPhone 6s [Video]

As it was already mentioned on our website, Apple’s iPhone 6s is a device that can boast of a number of serious improvements, for example, better processor and camera, 2GB of RAM, and a 3D Touch display. The latter one, by the way, can be used not only to open a context menu on your handset, but also to perform a lot more practical tasks. One of such tasks is weighing plums right on the display of the iPhone 6s.

In a new video from Simon Gladman we can see how the new 3D Touch screen displays the weight of several plums. The heavier plum is highlighted in yellow. To make such things possible, the author of the video has created a special app called the Plum-O-Meter.

Here’s What One Can Find Inside of New 21.5-inch Retina 4K iMac [Images]

The iFixit team has recently performed a teardown of the recently-launched 21.5-inch Retina 4K iMac. As it was mentioned earlier this week, this model can boast of soldered RAM, which means that the amount of memory can be upgraded only by Apple on customer’s demand before the purchase of the computer. The CPU is also soldered to the logic board, so no upgrades and replacements are possible. The most interesting component of the 4K Retina iMac is obviously its 4096 x 2304 pixels display. The iFixit team has found out that it is manufactured by LG. Below you may take a look at the images showing the disassembled 21.5 inch iMac.
