Urban Armor Gear Sent iPhone 6 into Space [Video]

A new video has recently appeared on the Internet, which shows us a brand new iPhone 6 sent into space with the help of a weather balloon. The short clip was shot by a popular iPhone case manufacturer Urban Armor Gear to advertise its products in a rather unusual way. Take a look at the video and tell me what you think.

What we can see in the clip is the iPhone in an Urban Armor Gear case tied to a weather balloon, sent to the stratosphere and dropped down from the height of 101.000 feet. Although at the very beginning the device was turned on, later it turned off and froze. When the iPhone hit the ground, it remained in the case, which protected the device from damaging at landing.

Here's what Urban Armor Gear writes about the ultimate drop test:

“Our cases already meet military drop-test standards, but now we can officially say that they are space tested as well,” said Steve Armstrong, co-founder of Urban Armor Gear. "The fact that the iPhone survived its space adventure and returned fully functioning showcases our commitment in providing our customers world-class, or in this case out of this world, protection for their premium devices."

The experiment described above was held in November. The video appeared online only a couple of days ago.
