White iPhone 4 May Get Expose-like Multitasking Interface

Today Engadget found a video that suggests a white iPhone 4 might get a new Expose-style multitasking interface.

It was reported that the iPhone in the video is running "a test version" of iOS that gives a visual representation of running applications instead of a multitasking tray at the bottom of the screen. AppleInsider, however, found that the icon of the Voice Memos application is outdated, which allows to conclude that the device may be running some older version of iOS4 that was never released to the public.

Rumors on such interface appeared last year. People who were familiar with the matter told that Apple was going to implement the multitasking interface similar to Expose, which is used in Mac OS X. But the company showed another realization of that idea.

The video also reveals Vietnamese site Tinhte.vn is its source. Earlier this site has proved its credibility as the source of legitimate leaks. For instance, the guys obtained a 13-inch MacBook of the latest generation before it was officially unveiled.

Another video shows a prototype of a white iPhone 4 with 64GB of internal capacity. As you may notice, there are some slight differences in interface and Settings application has Facebook integrated into the mobile OS, but still it’s the same iOS 4 as the one used in current generation iDevices. The next major update of Apple's mobile operating system is expected to be released at the WWDC, which will be held on June 6-10 in San Francisco, California.
