Apple Announces New Entry-Level 13-inch MacBook Pro

Aside from showing the updated MacBook Pro with OLED touch panel, Apple has just announced the new lower-end 13-inch MacBook Pro without it to replace the larger MacBook Air. The company also ditched the 11-inch Air.

The laptop shares most specs with the other models introduced today, however, lacks the touch panel. The new MacBook Air replacement is 12% thinner and smaller than the old model and is way more efficient. In terms of design, the laptop is nearly identical to the 12-inch MacBook.

Even though the 13-inch MacBook is a lower-end device, the price is quite high – $1499.
