Apple Once Again Rumored to Release 4-inch iPhone Next Year
According to the latest report from IHS Technology researcher Kevin Wang, the long-awaited 4-inch iPhone called probably the iPhone 6c may be released in mid-2016. Previous report from this source pointed to the release of the device in the fourth quarter of 2015, however, because of the new report from KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo or under some other circumstances, Wang decided to change the forecast.
The analyst did not share any new specs for the upcoming handset. He only claimed the device will get a 4-inch display, but this is what we already know thanks to Kuo.
IHS Technology research director Kevin Wang, who previously said a new 4-inch iPhone would launch by the end of 2015, has now changed his prediction to mid 2016 on Chinese microblogging service Sina Weibo (via GforGames), corroborating information shared by reliable KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo.
The 4-inch iPhone 6c may get an aluminum body with Apple’s A9 processor inside. Foxconn is rumored to become the main manufacturer of the handset. Apple may sell as many as 20-30 million iPhone 6c units by the end of the next year.
